  • Hand-Eye Supply 427 Northwest Broadway Portland, OR, 97209 United States (map)
Scott Hammond

WEBSITE: Radio Hot Tub

In today's radio climate, it's next to impossible for a local band to get their songs heard on the radio without a record deal. As a singer in bands in the 1980s and a radio morning show host in the 21st century, Scott has seen the effects of this problem from both sides. He'll discuss some of the core values of making great radio, and remind us that, even in this day and age, radio can help to promote local talent, create bonds between bands and their fans, and nurture a thriving live music scene in our city.

Scott Hammond is the creator, producer and air talent of "Radio Hot Tub", a local internet radio station focusing on the unsigned musical talent of Portland. he has worked as a morning show host and production director for various radio stations across the USA and Canada for the past 20 years and has been syndicated in over 40 markets nationwide.
